Unique

There are those who say he's coming back but we have only to wait...
There are some who say he burst up there because ball was not meant to fly…
And there are some who maintain he landed safely in a place where balls bounce high…

Tomorrows Sun

Awakened in a state of yearning, youth is the age that finds the world bare.
Half-willing, wholly stubborn, the heart has faded non-committed.
Living a dream unfolded, time passes alluding to what once was.
Adorned with excruciating gestures, Sun bitten faces remind us
“tomorrow’s sun is today's worry”.

Double G Mic V.

Remembrance is the goal of the precocious.
They are
sensitive, susceptible, and willing to walk the path of least resistance,
yet prepared to damn the world to hell.
Perturbed by congenial coaxing,
their voices speak aloud as if thousands of years have never passed.
They are told
creation is a figurative gesture,
and that their souls,
can only be saved by the hand of mammon.
Sit and weep precocious mind
for the wax tablet melts away in the flickering flame.

As I Stand Staring

I don't want to make superficial Poetry.
 Especially,
if the
illusions,
idioms,
and similes
don't capture or express my life experiences.
 Poetry is a platform.
A means to an end;
like
a wood chopper uses an axe to chop down a tree,
I aim
to use my Poetry
to create.
To articulate and express
poignant ideas,
visions, and sentiments.
...
I seek and work toward expressing a deeper human consciousness,
even if the representation is simple and crude.
...
The goal is to capture and express life better than other art forms can.
...
The end is the product,
the means is the time,
effort,
emotion,
vocalization,
will and wit.

Ode to the Silent Hero

Let the vultures have their way and eat all the flesh off of my bones,
this was the day they were waiting for.
---
Their tongues to my flesh, will not be satisfying.
The meat, will not be tender.
---
I die, because it is in my nature to do so,
they scavenge, because it is in theirs to do so.
---
Bones picked clean, my remains display
that
I
once was.
---
Stomachs full,
they will never know,
what they ate.
